The UAB Collat School of Business has opportunities for PMPs to obtain PDUs by serving as mentors for the project management students. During their PM classes the students execute real projects for real sponsors and need the guidance of experienced PMs. (The PM mentors have no deliverables.)

There is also a need for PMs to serve on the Project Management Advisory Board in conjunction with serving as mentors. Past mentors have provided valuable input which is allowing us to continuously improve the PM courses. (Our lessons learned sessions held after classes end are beneficial.)

The students need mentors spring, summer, and fall, so there are many opportunities to serve as a mentor as one has time.

If you are able to serve please contact Philip Musa at musa@uab.edu and include a phone number to reach you. Thank you for your support.
