The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama’s capital project offers a unique opportunity to see project management principles come to life in a mission-driven facility. During our visit, we’ll learn how the organization planned and delivered a facility designed to expand capacity, improve operations, and better serve communities across Central Alabama. We’ll also roll up our sleeves and volunteer together, putting PMI’s spirit of service and community impact into action.
Tasks will include sorting items, packing boxes, breaking down boxes and other needs that we may be able to assist.
Points to Remember
- Volunteers can be as 9-years of age, so bring a friend or family memeber
- Volunteers are required to wear CLOSED TOE shoes
- Dress comfortably
